Circle Announced A Partnership With Grab To Implement Web3 Services

The Circle Web3 Services platform will be integrated into the Grab app and become the “Grab Web3 wallet.” This new Web3 service allows Singapore users to create their own blockchain-enabled wallets.

Circle (USDC stablecoin issuer) announced a partnership with Grab, an equivalent of Uber in Asia.

The company  turned to X (Twitter) to share its development with the crypto community. According to the notification, as a result of the collaboration, the Circle Web3 Services platform will be integrated into the Grab app and become the “Grab Web3 wallet.” This new Web3 service allows Singapore users to create their own blockchain-enabled wallets.

In addition, Circle noted that Singaporeans can earn rewards, collect collectibles and redeem non-fungible token (NFT) vouchers using the Web3 Wallet. Additionally, it was noted that the Grab Web3 wallet supports NFT SG Pitstop Pack vouchers in this initial phase. He highlighted that the vouchers can be redeemed at reputed stores and take you on exciting adventures in Singapore during the upcoming Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix.

Jeremy Allaire, CEO of Circle, expressed the company’s commitment to building partnerships with global consumer internet brands. He emphasized the desire to bring tangible everyday utility to users.
