Samsung will bring to CES 2024 a smart refrigerator with the memorable name 2024 Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with AI Family Hub+. The new product is equipped with an internal video camera, supports work with the Family Hub application, and also has an external 32-inch display built into one of the doors. The refrigerator offers a number of interesting features based on artificial intelligence. For example, using an internal camera, it identifies available food products and, through a connected application, offers recipes for dishes according to the individual needs of the owner.
Earlier this year, Samsung already showed a refrigerator with a camera installed inside, the Family Hub platform and AI-based recipe generation. Now, through Family Hub, you can launch the Samsung Food application, which connects to the Samsung Health owner’s profile and adapts recipes to his needs. There’s also a personalization feature that adapts recipes for gluten-free, pescatarian, lactose-free, vegan and fusion diets.
The Vision AI function, which allows you to identify available products, currently supports up to 33 items, so now the Samsung smart refrigerator will not yet be able to recognize something exotic. Expiration dates for each product will have to be entered manually – the corresponding notifications will be displayed immediately upon their expiration.
When the Samsung 2024 Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with AI Family Hub+ will go on sale and at what price is currently unknown.
