LG introduced the Smart Home AI Agent, which is designed for a smart home. The device combines artificial intelligence, robotic and multimodal technologies, allowing it to move, learn and engage in complex conversations
The LG Smart Home AI Agent robot is based on the Qualcomm Robotics RB5 platform. The compact two-wheeled robot assistant is equipped with a camera, a speaker, and a set of various sensors that allow it to monitor the situation in the house and collect information about the surrounding space, including temperature, humidity and air quality.
The machine operates in autonomous mode. He can communicate with household members and their guests, and demonstrate different emotions through various movements. To achieve this, it is equipped with multimodal artificial intelligence technology that combines voice and image recognition functions, as well as natural language processing capabilities. All this allows the LG Smart Home AI Agent robot to capture the context of the conversation, as well as the owner’s intentions, and actively participate in communication with users.
The manufacturer is going to demonstrate the new product at the international electronics exhibition CES 2024 from January 9 to 12.
