Fibocom’s FM160-NA 5G module has achieved an industry-leading milestone by receiving certification from all three major US carriers. The module has been validated to deliver optimal 5G connectivity services across all three carriers’ networks with proven capabilities, supporting mobile broadband applications with best-in-class 5G capabilities.

The FM160-NA module supports NR (NC) media scanning, expanding coverage, increasing throughput, and increasing capacity for a better user experience. It is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon X62 modem chipset and is backward compatible with the LTE-TDD and LTE-FDD network standards. The module delivers impressive speeds towards 3.5 Gbps user side and 900 Mbps network side 5G connections, enabling lightning-fast data transfer for IoT applications.

Demand for high data throughput for 4G FWA providers and early-stage 5G FWA service providers is growing. As a key element in driving the adoption of FWA, client-side equipment (CPE) plays an important role in providing continuous and reliable communications for homes, businesses and industries. The Fibocom FM160-NA module is the ideal wireless solution for FWA customers, providing gigabit connectivity to a variety of end devices such as CPEs, ODUs, mobile hotspots and USB storage devices.
