Kia Unveils Latest EV Concepts Emphasizing Geometric Design and Cabin Atmosphere

EV3 and EV4 represent the company’s “Opposites Unite” design philosophy, emphasizing cabin atmosphere, geometric shapes, and sustainable materials

Automobile manufacturer Kia has introduced two new electric vehicle concepts – the Concept EV3 and Concept EV4. They represent the company’s “Opposites Unite” design philosophy, emphasizing cabin atmosphere, geometric shapes, and sustainable materials.

The EV3 carries a bold and futuristic design. Like the EV9 concept, it features distinct geometric patterns, including octagonal wheel arches that significantly flare out from the body, and mirrors these shapes in the taillights.

The interior is more fanciful, designed to emphasize the spacious interior and create a “transformative cabin atmosphere”. It features a horizontal screen mounted on top that serves as both an instrument panel and infotainment system, along with an oval steering wheel and real mirrors.

The Concept EV4 is a clean-sheet design emphasizing sportiness and strong geometric shapes. The interior is broadly the same as the Concept EV3, but an “HVAC user interface incorporates a control panel that can be neatly stored in the center console when not in use,” according to Kia.
